GIACommanding the center of the ‘Riches in the Rocks’ exhibit in the Apex Gallery at GIA in Carlsbad, is a stunning series of agate slices called the "Eyes of Brazil". The 16 slices came from an approximately two-meter-long (six foot) single geode-boulder and took 12 days to saw. Also be sure to see the rest of the gem and mineral exhibits.
