Learning about Pearls
DiamondWavePearls are very sought after. They are classic and trendy and often passed down through families! Pearls have maintained their popularity over thousands of years because of their uniqueness and their ability to vary! They can be found across the world.
Pearls naturally exist in fresh and salt water oysters; and, honestly, they are very very tough to find!
Because of they way that they are created, to stumble on a pearl is not very typical. They much be invaded by a foreign substance, like a parasite. The parasite irritates the tissue within and the oyster starts to form layers of material around the foreign substance as a defense mechanism. Over years of this, the pearl grows many layers.
Naturally occurring pearls are the most rare!
