Goossens was born in 1927 early in his career he worked lighters engraved Cartier. Later working with the fashion house Chanel began to develop so-called “Byzantine style”.
In 1960 Goossens did for Chanel necklace c floral motifs decorated with pearls and beads items depicting eagles copied from the Anglo-Saxon zones huge Maltese cross-shaped brooch with green and red glass cabochons.
Over the years the jeweler has also collaborated with brands such as Scherrer Givenchy Mugler and Lacroix. In addition to jewelry Goossens creating perfume bottles jewelry thimbles and mirrors.
