Charlie Sheen: Donald Trump Gave Me Fake Diamonds as a Wedding present

Donald Trump, the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party in the 2016 presidential election, is a wonderful source for bizarre stories, the last of which coming actor Charlie Sheen.
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show last week, Charlie Sheen recalled a peculiar incident involving The Trump, himself and some fake jewels: “I’m reminded of a time about five years ago, I was at a dinner with my ex-wife Brooke (Mueller) … and about halfway through, I noticed Donald staring at my watch,” Sheen said. Trump then proceeded to give him “an early wedding gift as a gesture from me and Melania” – he took off his cufflinks, said “these are platinum diamond Harry Winston”, and handed the cufflinks to the grateful Sheen.
Six months later, Sheen said, he took the cufflinks to an appraiser: “She took the loupe, spent about four seconds and kind of recoiled from it - much like people do from Trump,” he said. “She says, ‘In their finest moment, this is cheap pewter and bad zirconias.’ And they’re stamped ‘Trump.’
And Sheen, who is self-admittedly not a fan of The trump, concluded: “I just thought, what does this really say about the man that he said, ‘Here’s a great wedding gift,’ and it’s just a bag of dog s**t?”
