A new Graff boutique, the Place Vendôme, has opened next to the Ritz Paris in the city of lights in early June. To celebrate the occasion, the company has recently unveiled the “Graff Vendôme” - a 105.07-carat D flawless pear shaped diamond, named after the high-end boutique.

According to Forbes, the diamond was created from a 314-carat rough following a 3D computerized mapping of the rough, and “many months” of work by Graff’s master cutters.

The result: a 105.07-carat stone, the largest in the company’s history, and 12 additional diamonds, the largest of which is a 17.10 carat polished stone. Nine of the 12 have been classified “D flawless” - , the highest color and clarity grading for a colorless diamond.
