Petra Kvitova, one of the greatest tennis players to ever come out of Czechoslovakia and a two-time Wimbledon champion, took time from her practice time at Wimbledon to talk about her new one-year deal deal with ALO Diamonds.

“I love jewelry and there was an option to have a deal with a Czech brand,” Kvitova was quoted in Forbes.

Kvitova is the first female athlete in the Czech Republic to become an ambassador for ALO diamonds. She will act as a global brand ambassador in promotion and social media campaigns, “leveraging her global recognition, reach and unique appeal”, the company said.  The agreement is for one year, no financial details were disclosed.

According to Forbes, ALO diamonds was founded in 1995 and has stores in the country as well as in Slovakia, Hong Kong and the US.
