Making History: Zales is the First Major Jeweler to Carry an LGBTQ-Focused Line

Diamonds are forever, and now they’re for everyone, too: Zales is now carrying “Love and Pride” – the first ever LGBTQ-focused line retailed by a major US jeweler.
According to JCK Online, the line has appeared on Showtime’s “The L Word” and features in “countless” LGBTQ wedding ceremonies. It is now available at Zales stores across the country, in Canada, and online.
In an interview with the website, Love and Pride designer Udi Behr called the Zales move a “milestone” for LGBTQ community: “Zales has done something historic”, Behr proudly said, “They went the extra mile and placed a whole collection that is designed for the LGBTQ community in their stores. We are thrilled”.
