Sarah Jessica Parker Adds “Jewelry Designer” to Her Resumé

Vogue

It seems that there is nothing that Sarah Jessica Parker can’t do. Today the actress turned shoe designer turned fragrance magnate turned little black dress designer turned publisher announced that she is collaborating with London-based fine jewelry designer Kat Florence on a collection of 100 designs for The Flawless Diamonds Collection. The multi-hyphenate told British Vogue that the collaboration came from a deeply personal place: “As an actor I have to remove all of my jewelry in order to take on the characters I play. I get to a trailer for work every day and I have to take off my jewelry to play a character, to be someone else. To me, jewelry is a very special choice.” The indefatigable Parker is also the face of the campaign and modeled for the moodily romantic lookbook, which was shot in New York by Peter Lindbergh. The pieces, which have names like ‘She-Ra,’ ‘Effervescence,’ and ‘Leaves of Gold’ are priced with an eye to accessibility, considering their materials—18 karat white and yellow gold and D-grade flawless diamonds sourced from Botswana, for most—and start at around $1,600. The designs will only be available in limited runs—reportedly 10 to 15 per style—but a few questions remain: What corner of the world will Parker conquer next? And is it any wonder that this woman once starred in a film called I Don’t Know How She Does It?   Get a look inside Sarah Jessica Parker’s home while she answers all of our 73 questions:
