Michelle Obama Steps Out in Support of Hillary in Over-the-Knee Boots

Just hours before American voters would begin filing into voting polls across the nation, First Lady Michelle Obama kicked her support for Hillary Clinton into high gear with a rousing speech and equally statement-making footwear. Addressing the throng of excited Clinton supporters who congregated in Philadelphia’s Independence Mall last night, the First Lady made her final and most evocative case for the Democratic hopeful perched on a pair of over-the-knee boots. The dark suede boots added bite to FLOTUS’s stately look of a matching shift dress and overcoat. Citing her speech as “perhaps the last and most important thing” she can do as a First Lady, Obama vigorously ticked off Clinton’s impressive record. With each point she made, Obama’s stunning lapis and diamond earrings swayed in unison. The look was a crowd-pleaser to be sure, what with the masses cheering her on. And as the First Lady made her way across the South Lawn later that evening, returning to the White House after the rally, it was clear she was willing to put in the necessary footwork to make a historical moment come to pass.
