VogueTeyana Taylor brought the Internet to its knees with her jaw-dropping performance in Kanye West’s “Fade” video earlier this year, and now the singer is quickly proving she can turn red carpet style into headline-making news, too. Dressed in a darkly romantic floor-length strapless bustier Elie Saab gown, the singer made a sultry entrance on the American Music Awards red carpet tonight. With a plunging necklace and spare accessories, save for a single diamond necklace, Taylor and her budding fashion tastes came into full focus. The look was a far cry from the body-revealing athleisure separates she and husband Iman Shumpert wore during New York Fashion Week this past season, and proved that Taylor can do understated glamour. Still, her bombshell proportions could not be ignored; the side lace mesh detailing on the dress certainly put all the rock-hard results of her recently released workout regimen on display. But like a red carpet star in training, Taylor managed to achieve a subtle balance.
