Multicolour GemsOne of the only options to retain the size and color of this Chrome Tourmaline from East Africa, was to fashion this amazing rondelle weighing 20.06 carats and measuring over 20mm in diameter. The stone began its life as an exceptionally large but flat piece of rough yet the cutter was still able to facet this remarkable gem. Cut more traditionally, the rough would only have yielded a 3 or 4ct. stone. Rose cut on one side and diamond cut on the other, this special fancy looks great from both sides and will be ideal for a pendant or even a ring with the right design.
